L'Oreal Collection Privée lipsticks in Cheryl's Barely Greige and Julianne's Barely Peach

L'Oreal have recently launched a limited edition collection of tailor made nudes for every skintone, chosen by 6 of L'Oreals iconic spokeswomen.

I chose Cheryl (Cole's) Barely Greige and Julianne (Moore's) Barely Peach.

I really like the packaging on these lipsticks.  The matte black bullet is accented with gold and looks more expensive than its £8.99 price tag.  The lipstick bullets are a really good shape for precise application and the colour applies smoothly.  The finish on both lipsticks is very glossy, almost akin to a lip butter.  Sadly on me, Cheryl's Barely Greige is so close to my own lip colour it just looks like I have slicked vaseline on my lips.  I think this colour would have been great on me if it had a matte finish and I would have loved it.  Julianne's Barely Peach works a lot better on my (NW15) pale skintone.  It's a glossy pale pink that really brightens my complexion and makes my lips look plumped and juicy.  This has gone straight into my handbag for the perfect day time perk me up.

The lipsticks feel very hydrating on the lips and are very comfortable to wear with no bleeding outside of the lip line.  One of the best drugstore lipsticks I have come across.

Have you tried any of the L'Oreal Collection Privée range?
