By Terry Terrybly Densillis blush in Platonic Blonde

Utterly obsessed describes my thoughts on the By Terry Densillis blush you see above-it is literally all I have been wearing recently.  This could be the worlds shortest review, ending by me saying 'just go and buy it' but I suppose I should elaborate a little more.   Especially as I have realised that this blush costs way more than the average...

The above shade is Platonic Blonde 01 and I was enabled to buy this blusher after seeing Karima from Shameless Fripperies talking about it-a self confessed 'non blush' girl who couldn't get enough of this shade.

So I bought it from Sephora in Dubai and was instantly obsessed.

Packaging first-solid, heavy silver compact with By Terry embossed on the top-and so it should be for the price tag that accompanies it.  I am going to just admit that I didn't realise this retails for £52 on Space NK.  God knows how much I paid in Dubai eek.  Given that most of you reading will be beauty addicts with 'not a hope in hell of ever finishing a blusher because you own so many' this is indeed an investment piece.  It's dressing table friendly but not so much travel friendly as it's quite heavy.  And I would be crapping my pants that it would get smashed in transit if I took it away with me.

The blush itself has a gorgeous quilted design and By Terry embossed all along the gridlines of the blusher.  It's a pretty special looking piece.

The blush itself is just magical.  It's not powdery or chalky in the slightest and it blends utterly seamlessly into the skin.  Platonic Blonde is peachy pink perfection and can be built up or used to add a subtle wash of colour to the cheeks.  It has no shimmer or glitter but has a definite glow right where you want there to be.  I don't know how this blush does it but it manages to look like a satin finish on my cheeks but on the top of my cheekbones it imparts a beautiful glow.

There is some science in the blush.  FTC-Flawless Time Control means that the shade looks fresh and newly applied all day.  And it lasts all day long with no touch ups.

I have shown it below with no flash and then with a flash-it is definitely my absolutely favourite blush of the moment but I do recognise that the price tag means this would truly have to be something you loved to splurge that much.  I have to say that as much as I do love this, the price tag does put me off picking up any more.  There are 6 shades altogether in the range so if you are in the mood to treat yourself they may be worth a swatch next time you're at the By Terry counter.
