January empties

Empties time again!  I think this is my least amount of empties ever!

Only three standouts this month but I will link you into some reviews I have done of the other products.

First up is the Acqua Di Parma Cube Candle in Spice.  I go through a LOT of candles, I absolutely love them and always have one or two burning when I am at home.  I don't always blog about them unless I love them but I quite often instagram pictures of what I am burning!

But the Acqua Di Parma cube candle in Spice definitely deserves a mention as it is absolutely lovely and I burnt it all through November, December and January.  These candles are expensive, around £70 but the burn time is incredible.  They also burn down the middle, keeping their outside cube shape.  The candle is described as 'burning spicy aromatic notes' and it is the perfect winter candle.  It smells like Christmas-cinnamon, cloves, a touch of orange and nutmeg.   Kind of mince pie-ish.

Tarte Gifted mascara is my second standout.  This is a great non smudging, non flaking black black mascara that lengthens and thickens.  I am not a fan of the packaging, it's a bit clumpy and clunky but the standard bristle wand is easy to use and gives great results.  This mascara was in my favourites this month too.

Last up is the Malin and Goetz lip moisturizer which was a small sample I picked up somewhere.  It has quite an unusual texture, it's a light, non sticky, almost runny clear gel.  It's also fragrance free and gives a great moisture boost to the lips.  I would definitely buy a full size one as it makes a big difference from the heavier formulas I use such as Dr Lipp Nipple Balm and Nuxe Reve De Miel.

Some snapshot thoughts on some of the other bits I finished up.  I reviewed the Bumble and Bumble hair powder here and I still have a lot of love for it!  And there is a full review of the Show Premiere Dry Shampoo here-lovely but I am not sure the price tag is justifiable.

The La Mer 'The Cleansing Oil' is reviewed in full here and again it is very lovely.  But a new (and much cheaper) cleansing oil has recently stolen my heart-details coming soon!

Shiffa is a local Dubai brand which is also available in the UK.  Their light milky cleanser was a good morning cleanser but again-extremely pricy.  Having said that, it lasted ages.

I was a huge fan of the Clarins Instant Eye Make Up Remover previously but sadly for some reason it seemed to be causing breakouts around my eyelids which is very odd and very nasty!

Have you used any of these products?
