Dior Spring 2014 Trianon collection-lipstick picks

Regular readers of this blog may know I am a big fan of the Dior 'Rouge Dior' formula.  In fact, I might go as far as to say it is my favourite formula of all time.  It's super easy to apply, glossy, very hydrating and the colours are lovely and opaque.  The packaging is divine too!

So in the Spring 2014 'Trianon' collection there are 4 new shades to the range.  I bought 3 of them.  The 'Trianon' collection is inspired by Marie Antoinette and contains many sugary sweet, pastel colours.  Although gorgeously packaged with ribbons and bows embossed into the palettes, I didn't pick up anything else from the range as I felt the shades weren't wearable for me.  Covertable but not practical.  Expect maybe the single blushes....

The lipsticks really speak for themselves so I will leave you to enjoy the swatches below.

Souveraine is literally lipstick perfection for me.  A little bit like 'Crosswires' from MAC, this pink/red/coral is perfect for spring and summer.

Courtisane is barbie bubblegum pink.

Allegresse is definitely a bright pink with a hint of lilac-not for the faint hearted but it definitely brightens my complexion.

I purchased my lipsticks from Selfridges (where else?  I should buy shares) where the range is currently exclusive in the UK.
